Hi, so I thought I’d share a few pics of whats going on around here…
The dinning room ceiling, I’ve been scrapping off about a 100 years of wall paper, texture paint, and paint.

The new chandelier, it’s actually an old ugly brass thing, probably from the 1980′s, but we spray painted it with a black hammered metal spray paint, now it just looks very old! I love it, and it was only $15! Oh. and yeah, that hole in the ceiling, an old attic entrance. It’s almost done being patched up now. I know, stupid place to make a big hole in the ceiling right?!
And finally, these are two old scratch and dent ikea book shelfs. I’ve been working on painting them white, and replacing the back with the old wood slats from the ceiling, from where I made a new entrance for the attic.
And what do you think about the paint color?

Yeah, I can’t wait to finish it all, I feel like my tiny house is going to take a life time to complete, but I like doing the work.

Sheesh, scraping that ceiling must have been rough.
It’s a lot of work, but it feels good to be getting it done, it was so bad before, the sad part is the bathroom ceiling is the only other one that has been done in the whole house.
